The weather in DC has been a little warmer these past few days, so obviously I’m beginning to think of the airy feeling sandals create after wearing boots all winter. There are new spring trends coming our way (more on that later), but now is actually a great time to look at what’s being phased out from past seasons. It’s possible to find unique gems at lower prices that still look current. That’s how I stumbled across these caged sandals by Schutz.
I seem to have a thing for caged heels. Not only do they look sexy when done the right way, but they’re typically more secure on your feet than most other heel styles. These are available in so many different colors, from blue suede to red snakeskin, and even embellished with rhinestones. It’s hard to choose a favorite from all the options, but I’m most partial to the red suede. And if needle-thin stilettos are not your thing, this caged creation also comes in a block heel style.
