Double-Take: Christian Louboutin Amazoulo

Talk about making a statement! It’s not surprising that the magnificent Amazoulo sandal comes from Louboutin—his collections are as colorful and imaginative as they are sexy. Fun fact about these? They’re quite comfortable! The open toe construction and adjustable lacing helps create a better fit, something you’re not going to get with the So Kate or Pigalle Follies.

This fantastic shoe was made in a few different colors, including black, nude, leopard print, and electric blue. The blue is by far my favorite, though I love the leopard as well. Amazoulo is completely sold out everywhere because it’s from the 2016 season, but you can still find a pair on Tradesy, eBay, and possibly even TheRealReal.

If you can’t track down the sandal, or want the look for less, there’s another option: the Laurine from Schutz. These sandals have the same laced-cage structure, but a slightly thicker heel. They also come in the same beautiful bright blue color! You can snag a pair for as low as $60 on Amazon or for $99 on The Outnet.

I’m a big fan of Schutz shoes. When I first discovered them, they were a bit hard to find in the states. These days, it’s much easier. At the moment I only have one pair, but I’ve purchased and worn many different styles over the years and can confidently say that they’re typically comfortable and always beautifully crafted. Sizing can be a bit tricky at first, but once you know what fits best, you’ll get as addicted as I did!
