I fell in love with these white pointy-toe ankle-strap pumps. The Callen pump is extremely comfortable because the heel isn’t very high, and the ankle strap is very secure. The fit is a bit narrow, and that’s saying something because I have fairly narrow feet. I don’t think the style would be comfortable for wider feet, but there’s no harm in trying them on! They’re available in many different colors, but I think the white looks extremely elegant, classy, and perfect for summer! You can find them at Macy’s, Zappos, and Amazon.
I’ve always liked Nine West because there is something for everyone. The brand offers both classics and seasonal trends in a variety of heel heights and colors, and the majority of the shoes are leather and last quite a while. I have a pair of gorgeous color-block pumps from about four years ago that I still wear.
I stopped at my local Nine West store in Philadelphia during my long holiday weekend; they had some pretty great sale prices as well as a buy-one-get-one half off promotion. I tried on several delicious styles, which were all quite comfortable. But…reason got the best of me and I didn’t get new shoes that day (despite the very insistent sales associates). However, the styles have been tucked into the back of my mind just in case!
Another shoe that caught my eye because of it’s unique shape was the Girlface mule-pump. Although I’m not a mule or slingback person (I don’t like my shoes to move around on my feet), these are quite interesting and actually pretty comfortable if you’re used to a very high heel. They didn’t have a 6.5 at the store so I tried a 6 (which was a bit snug) so my guess is that they fit pretty true to size.
