Classic pointed toe pumps will never go away. The shape has changed in subtle ways over time, and I think some of the best silhouettes are from the past couple years. Although a white pump doesn’t seem like a practical choice, it’s definitely edgy, classic, and sure to stand out. I love these pumps by Saint Laurent because there’s something about the silhouette that looks more modern and updated than some of the others out there.
I found an amazingly similar pump from Jeffrey Campbell, whose designs are based on vintage inspirations and edgier trends. I don’t normally like Jeffrey Campbell shoes because they don’t align with my style, but I was pleasantly surprised to come across the Dulce pump. It looks just as elegant (and even slightly similar to the Pigalle) and the price is much easier to accept. They’re available on NastyGal in white and in other colors at Urban Outfitters.

I love your shoe infatuation! I completely agree about the Saint Laurent/Jeffrey Campbell relationship. I recently bought Jeffrey Campbell’s Darling pump in Black as a “double-take” (to use your term) for the Jimmy Choo Anouk! Then I caved and bought the Anouk in nude.. but that’s a different story 😉
I’ll be following! Feel free to check out my blog too!
Best,
Jenny
Thank you Jenny! How do you like the Campbell Darling? They do look very similar to the Anouk…it’s one of the shoes I plan to write about soon 😉
