Sneakers are still having their moment in fashion. Everyone from Céline to Steve Madden is making them, and in so many different styles. The slip on sneakers around today have come a long way from their 90’s ancestors, especially those made with materials such us leather or pony hair. But one of my favorites is definitely glitter; it brings a girlish vibe to an otherwise masculine shoe. Wearing glittery shoes is an excellent way to add a little oomph to your casual outfits. I love the Saint Laurent trainers above (FarFetch), but they’re far out of my budget. But that’s okay because glitter is not some super fancy material, and there are plenty of other options!
Classic pointed toe pumps will never go away. The shape has changed in subtle ways over time, and I think some of the best silhouettes are from the past couple years. Although a white pump doesn’t seem like a practical choice, it’s definitely edgy, classic, and sure to stand out. I love these pumps by Saint Laurent because there’s something about the silhouette that looks more modern and updated than some of the others out there.
You can always count on Saint Laurent to provide beautiful classics with an edge for the fashion world. From the beginning, the Saint Laurent brand conjured images of gender-bending sophistication, renegade French chic, and a balanced mix of the high and low.
There are so many great shoes from Saint Laurent, it’s hard to choose a favorite! The Tribute pumps and sandals are quite popular, but I actually prefer some of the other styles, like the Paris pumps. Saint Laurent does a great job of merging classic, edgy, sexy, and modern elements all into one design.
After TJ Maxx launched The Runway in select stores a few years ago, my chances at finding high-end shoes for less greatly increased. My collection of decadent footwear grew significantly since then, but there was always a nagging thought at the back of my mind: what about Manolos, Jimmy Choos, and Louboutins? Today I finally got my answer.
Chelsea boots never completely went away, but now their popularity is increasing again due to updated silhouettes, such as pointed toes and studded details. They also come in various heel heights, like the fantastic pair above by Saint Laurent. This heeled adaptation is just as classic as the original flat version.
