Double-Take: Giuseppe Zanotti Chain T-Strap

I’m obsessed with all of Giuseppe Zanotti’s edgier styles. Because no matter how clunky or over-done heavy details can be on some designs, he always finds a way to implement them in a way that makes the shoe modern, sophisticated, sexy and cool all at the same time. I love this chunky chain detail, it really turns the shoes into a statement piece.

However, you have to be careful with how you wear them just because they detail is so heavy. I know that I wouldn’t be able to pull these off because the chunkiness of the chains would overwhelm the slenderness of my feet. However, they have great potential! The only thing I don’t like is the curve of the heel (which you can’t see in the photo I chose). But it’s not like I can afford them anyway, so here come the double-takes:

These are probably the best bang for your buck. The detailing is the same, and the best part is that the heel is perfectly straight! They are available in a few colors including black, taupe, silver, and gold. You can find them on Amazon, Lulu’s, GoJane, and CiciHot.

Steve Madden has really been taking a lot of “inspiration” from designer shoes lately. I’ve spotted many double-takes, including sneakers and heels. These are slightly less heavy in detail than the original design, which works quite nicely with the style.
