You can always count on Saint Laurent to provide beautiful classics with an edge for the fashion world. From the beginning, the Saint Laurent brand conjured images of gender-bending sophistication, renegade French chic, and a balanced mix of the high and low.
Everything always looks so utterly fashionable, and the pump above is a prime example of Laurent’s style. The classic pump is updated with a thick, cuff-like ankle strap and the wearer is raised a whopping 4.3 inches without a platform (I don’t know about you, but would kill my feet after a long day). The pointed toe, razor straight heel, and color block are ultra modern and slightly rebellious, yet still ageless. The style above (as well as other color variations) are sold out, but there’s a great option from Enzo Angiolini:
Although the Fastir has more white than the pump by Saint Laurent, it’s still a great shoe. I tried on a pair at DSW (also available on Zappos) a few weeks ago and fell in love with them. They look sexy and sleek, and have a bit of extra cushion in the front. They do run a 1/2 size small, so keep that in mind when ordering a pair for yourself!
