They say imitation is a form of flattery. So I guess the amount of Jimmy Choo double-takes I’ve been spotting lately just means that they are fantastic and people want them at lower prices.
While I don’t agree that direct copies (or fakes) are a good thing, I do think that close matches and designs “inspired” by the originals still allow shoe lovers with a smaller budget to indulge in their fantasies. That being said, I’m not surprised that Jimmy Choo shoes are some of the most imitated.
The Jimmy Choo Fable sandal above (available at FarFetch) is delicate and beautiful, a real lady’s shoe. I think they’d be great for a wedding. The delicate lace is wonderfully complimented by the slim, curved straps and subtle platform. Plus, the ankle strap makes them secure enough for a night of dancing and celebration!
